Judging Criteria

Our internal judging team will assess the following aspects of the recipe and to shortlist the finalists of each category for further judgement:

 

  • Completeness of information provided

  • Ingredient List

  • Degree of Innovation

  • Appearance
     

The panel of Tasters will score the dish base on 5 key factors for scoring :  Taste, Innovation, Ingredients, Pricing, Presentation.

Panel of Tasters

Panel of Tasters is made up of food critics, who are local foodies, chefs and veggie / vegan influencers.

How to Judge

  • A tasting day will be arranged between 25-31 January 2024.

  • All tasters and finalists must attend the tasting day for evaluation.

  • On the tasting day, finalists are required to prepare the nominated dish for the tasting by Taster Panel.  

  • Each taster will taste and evaluate the food individually without communication or exchange of comments with other tasters. 

  • Tasters will be allowed to ask the finalist (or the chef) about the nominated dish during the tasting.
